Akshardham Temple, Delhi (India)
Swaminarayana Akshardham Temple is a Hindu temple commonly known as Akshardham temple. It is situated in the capital of India i.e. Delhi. I have visited many times there and the area in which it is been made is massive including temples, boat rides, Giant screen film, lawns, foundations etc. It is impeccable and if you are in Delhi then it is a must visit place because there you got to know many things about Hindu culture. You have to deposit your shoes, bags, mobile phones or any other electronic device before entering the temple because of security issues. Smoking & Alcohol, Pets, Cameras, Mobile Phones, Food is strictly prohibited. You can get food inside the premises.

When i last visited there i met a girl of Moldova (European country), she was strolling alone . Usually tourists comes in a group but she was alone so i started conversation with her because i could tell her more about that place and also she will not feel alone & boring. I was along with my 2 friends. I asked her from how long you have been here, she said from last 1 month. She was doing some kind of course here.
So i started to tell her about the temple and about India. I asked what good and bad experiences you got here, she said people like you are really helpful :) and the city is beautiful. Then i asked what about bad experiences, she said some taxi drivers charges higher rates to foreigners which is not cool but apart from it everything is good. I said i know they charge a bit higher to foreigners but their main source of Income is Tourism so they used to make some money from it. As Indian rupee is not that strong comparing to Euro, that's why it doesn't seems that much higher price for you but for them it could make them happy. She agreed to my point at last. :)
